Garden Design Process
Initial Consultation
We visit you and view your garden, note your likes and dislikes,
special instructions and features you would like included in your
garden. There is a £50 fee for this consultation, which lasts about
one and a half hours, which is refundable against a design commission.
Design Brief and Costs
We send you a design brief and give you a price for preparing a design as required.
Concept Plan
We survey the garden and do a site analysis. From these a concept plan
is prepared and presented to you, along with sketches and/or images to
illustrate our ideas. Any revisions to the design may be made at this
stage free of charge.
Presentation Plan
Final plans are drawn up incorporating any revisions that were
identified at concept plan stage. We also prepare construction
drawings and setting out plans and a specification of works as required.
Project Monitoring
If required we can liaise with contractors to monitor the project and ensure that design specifications are met.
Front Gardens
A tired or neglected front garden will
create a negative impression of your property whereas a well designed
one will enhance it. It is possible to create a ‘wow factor’ in a
front garden which is a low maintenance area where parking for the car
is required. We can offer you sustainable design solutions compliant
with new government legislation, which will be both functional and
beautiful.
Planting Plans
Planting plans can be commissioned alone
or as part of a garden design package. We will note all your plant
likes and dislikes and advise on sustainable plant choices. (Choosing
plants that will thrive in a particular location ensures they will
require less irrigation, fertilizer and will minimise plant losses.)
Planting plans are prepared and presented along with images to explain
plant choices. A plant list is supplied and also an annual maintenance
plan.
We can supply top-quality plants at competitive prices, we can also set out and arrange planting if required.
Garden Consultations
We can visit your garden to discuss
any problems or plans you may have for your garden. The visit will
usually last around one and a half hours. We will make notes and
prepare a report offering design solutions, advice on sustainability,
product sourcing, and any other issues specific to your garden. Cost:
£145 plus mileage.

garden and how to care for it? We offer one hour sessions in your
garden so you can learn any aspect of gardening you wish – such as
